Our Kent MBA programme

Entry requirement for international students

Students need to have a minimum of a second-class UK degree, or an equivalent internationally recognised qualification in a variety of subject areas and three years of managerial experience are required for entry on to the course. All applicants are considered on an individual basis and those without an honours degree may also be considered on the basis of work experience, professional qualifications and the relevance of the programme to their current professional role. All applicants are considered on an individual basis and additional qualifications, professional qualifications and relevant experience may also be taken into account when considering applications. IELTS: 6.5 overall (with a minimum of 6.0 in each component). TOEFL: 90 overall (with a minimum of 22 in R&S; 21 in W; 20 in L).

Kent MBA Leaders in Sustainability Scholarship

Application details:

Whilst there is no official deadline for applications, these scholarships are dependent upon a finite pool of funding and a limited number of scholarship awards. This scholarship can only be considered after you have submitted a formal application to study onto the Kent MBA at Kent Business School and have received a formal offer for September 2021 entry.

Eligibility requirements:

Open to all applicants who are in receipt of a formal offer to study onto the Kent MBA. To be eligible candidates must: Hold a UK First Class degree (or international equivalent) and/or hold substantial mangerial work experience; Be self-funded; Submit a minimum 500 word statement of motivation, detailing why they should be considered for this scholarship award which demonstrates their commitment to sustainable business practice, aspirational business leadership and how this aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. Awards will be considered on a rolling basis by the Scholarship. Awarding Panel every month, with successful candidates notified within one week of the panel meeting. The University reserves the right not to allocate the awards if the selection panel identifies no suitable candidates. Kent Business School is pleased to be able to offer a limited number of competitive 'Leaders in Sustainability Scholarships' to students applying for the Kent MBA, worth 50% of the Kent MBA tuition fee.
