Summary
The Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science also offers an accelerated program that would enable students to a earn a Bachelor of Electrical or Computer Engineering degree as well as a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering in 5 years.
PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS
Once admitted to the combined program, the student may complete up to 12 credit hours of graduate courses while enrolled in the undergraduate program. These 12 credit-hours count towards both the undergraduate degree and the graduate degree requirements, either as electives or as requirements.
Students who are accepted for an accelerated 4+1 program may apply or transfer a maximum of 12 graduate credit hours taken while an undergraduate. No additional graduate credit hours taken as an undergraduate may be applied or transferred to the graduate record.
COURSE REQUIREMENTS
All bachelor's degree requirements must be met. 12 credits of 500-level EEC courses must be taken (in addition to, or as approved substitutions for undergraduate elective requirements) in year 4 while completing the bachelor's degree.
500-level and/or 600-level courses will be taken in year 5 as a graduate student.
The 12 credits of 500-level coursework completed during undergraduate studies will be applied to both the bachelor's degree and the master's degree. Students may apply or transfer a maximum of 12 graduate credit hours taken while an undergraduate. No additional graduate credit hours taken as an undergraduate may be applied or transferred to the graduate record.

Entry requirement for international students
The following admission requirements apply to students who have not completed any college-level course work after completing secondary school.
Cumulative secondary school GPA equivalent to a 3.0 on the US grading scale
Meet minimum test score requirements:
TOEFL iBT (Internet-Based): 78 and at least 17 in each section
TOEFL PBT (Paper-Based): 550
IELTS: 6.0 and at least 5.0 in each section
PTE (Pearsons Test of English): 50
Application Deadlines: Fall Semester - July 21; Spring Semester - December 10
