Entry requirements

For students from United States

Students must have a bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college or university in the United States, or an equivalent degree granted by an institution in another country (as determined by the Office of Graduate Admission).

For international students

Students enrolling in graduate programs must have a bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college or university in the United States, or an equivalent degree granted by an institution in another country (as determined by the Office of Graduate Admission).

Proficiency in English is required of all international applicants. Applicants whose native language is not English must submit official test scores from one of the following exams:

Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL). The TOEFL examination is given in internet-based (iBT) and paper-based formats. A minimum TOEFL score of 80 in the iBT scoring system (with no sub score lower than 17) or 550 on the paper-based is required to be considered for full admission.
International English Language Testing System (IELTS). A minimum score of 6.5 (with no sub score below 6.0) is required to be considered for full admission.
PTE-Academic (Pearson Test of English). A minimum score of 65 is required to be considered for full admission.

Application Deadlines: Fall Semester: July 15, then rolling; Spring Semester: December 1, then rolling; Summer Semester: April 1 (priority), then rolling.
