The Bachelor of Arts degree offers concentrations in General Studio Art and Teaching. These programs provide opportunities for students to creatively express personal experience and thought with visual skill and clarity; develop knowledge and technical skills necessary to pursue advanced studies and to teach art; and to develop the expertise to become arts professionals.
Teaching Concentration
The Teaching Concentration prepares students to meet the requirements for admission to the credential program for teaching art, grades K-12. Students are encouraged to work with the department adviser and the Centre for Careers in Teaching as early as possible in their academic careers to plan efficient course selections for general education, major, elective and credential requirements.

Be a high school graduate or equivalent.
Complete the 15-unit comprehensive “A-G” pattern with a grade of C- or better by high school graduation.
"A-G" requirement may not be completed during the summer term prior to fall enrolment.
