Program Description: The Bachelor of Applied Science Degree in Information Technology provides individuals who hold an Associate in Science (AS) or Associate in Applied Science (AAS) degrees the opportunity to further their education. Students completing this program will have the skills and knowledge required to become successful Information Technology professionals and leaders. The curriculum offers a learner-centered and practical approach to understanding and applying Computer Information Technology

Additional Program Information: This program is available to students in a face-to-face format, online format, and a highly accelerated online competency-based format. Some classes may also be available in a blended/hybrid format. Students can complete their courses using one modality (face-to-face, online, competency-based) or a combination of modalities—hybrid format.

Students possessing prior real-world experience and/or industry certification(s) may be eligible to accelerate completion through Prior Learning Assessments (PLA), and articulated certification transfer

Entry requirements

For international students

Minimum AA, AS or AAS degree or 60 completed semester credit hours (from a Regionally Accredited Institution) and 2.0 out of 4.0 GPA in all previous post-secondary work. Students with an Associate in Arts degree or 60 credit hours but not holding a degree may be admitted to the program if the AS General Education requirements have been satisfied and other criteria are met upon the recommendation of the Associate Dean or Dean.

English Language Requirements

IELTS: 6.5; TOEFL IBT: 79; Cambridge English Advanced: 176; PTE Academic: 58.
