The grad track program offers students the opportunity for a seamless pathway to a Master of Arts degree in French. Students can begin taking graduate-level courses while still working towards their undergraduate degree. You'll master language skills through combining required coursework and other learning opportunities.The M.A. degree allows you to teach language courses at a community college, university or in public and private schools. Other options include teaching-intensive language programs, working as a translator or interpreter, or in international studies. Teaching intensive language programs can prepare you for working with business professionals and multinational corporations. You may also work in the tourism industry.The Department of World Languages, Literatures and Cultures offers a degree in French, as well as a professional certification. The professional certification is useful for careers in travel and tourism, and business.You will become proficient in speaking, reading and writing the language you choose.
