What will I learn?

An interdisciplinary science, biochemistry is the study of living organisms and is essential in creating and testing new foods, drugs and agricultural techniques. It's ideal if you are interested in pursuing a career in a variety of health professions. In addition to gaining basic and advanced scientific knowledge, Biochemistry students also graduate with degrees certified by either the American Chemical Society or the American Society of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology.

Entry requirements

For international students

Students must have at least a 2.5 grade-point average on a 4.0 scale for general admission. Students must have a minimum of five subject passes, of which two must be English and Mathematics. Students with IGCSE and O-Level Certificates from Cambridge International will also be considered for admission.

English Language Requirements: TOEFL Internet-Based = 79; IELTS = 6.5; Duolingo English Test = 105, Pearson Test of English Academic = 53. In some cases, SAT reading or ACT English test scores may be used to meet English Proficiency.
