Kogod’s business, language, and culture major equips you with the skills to thrive in today’s globalized world of business. You’ll become proficient in a foreign language, learn how to navigate cultural nuances, and study abroad, all while building the solid foundation in business that can help you succeed anywhere. As a student, you will choose a language track when entering the program: Arabic, Chinese, French, German, Hebrew, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, or Swahili. By the time you graduate, you'll speak that language comfortably in a professional setting. In addition to business foundations, the major also includes courses to strengthen your understanding of other cultures, including anthropology and economics.Learning a language in the classroom can only take you so far-you need to experience living it in the real world. That's why you'll spend a semester abroad taking courses in your language track. This experience will increase your proficiency, teach you how to adapt to new environments, and make you stand out in front of employers.
