What will I learn?

Industrial engineering focuses on continuous improvement in quality, reliability, processes, systems, enterprises and achieve operational excellence. They also help major manufacturers manage people and supply lines that crisscross the globe so that all the components needed to assemble a product arrive on time, on budget, in sequence, and to the correct assembly line at the correct plant.

Lawrence Tech’s Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering covers operations research, modeling and simulation, quality, reliability, product development, system design, statistical methods, facility planning, work design and standardization, engineering management, ergonomics, finance, supply chain, logistics, healthcare systems and business operations.

Students can involve Industry-Sponsored Projects for their senior design projects for solving company’s product development, process and systems improvement solutions. Some of the senior electives can be applied towards masters in other engineering and non-engineering programs, thus making it possible for you to move fast through the academic career path.

Entry requirements

For international students

Students must have high school equivalent. The following English proficiency test scores are required for students for whom English is a second language: 60 on the TOEFL iBT; 5.5 on the IELTS; 95 on the Duolingo English Test for undergraduate students.
