Overview
Business Analytics is a rapidly expanding business discipline, enabled by explosive growth in data, computing power and software availability. Analytics can be defined as the scientific process of transforming data into insights, and ultimately into better decisions. Graduates from UC's Carl H. Lindner College of Business with a bachelor of science degree in business analytics are well-equipped to apply descriptive, predictive and prescriptive models to data in order to help organizations better analyze data and make better operational and strategic decisions.

UC Lindner College of Business graduates with a degree in business analytics fulfill a critical need for companies across all industries. Likely job roles filled by graduates include positions as data analysts, risk analysts, data scientists, management scientists, and management consultants, as well as roles associated with specific functional areas such as marketing analytics, healthcare analytics, supply-chain analytics, sports analytics, and others.
Some graduates may also choose to extend their education in business analytics by continuing on to earn a Master of Science in Business Analytics degree from the Carl H. Lindner College of Business. These students will expand the depth of their knowledge in analytics as well as be exposed to additional tools and methodologies for implementing business analytics.

First-year applicants are those who have not enrolled in college or university courses (other than Post Secondary Enrollment Options Program) since graduating from high school.
English test score requirements: ELS - 112 Graduation; IELTS - 6.5 Overall minimum of 6.0 on speaking, minimum 5.5 on each section; PTE - 53; TOEFL - 79 iBT minimum of 20 on speaking, minimum of 15 on each section; Duolingo - 105; Cambridge - 176 minimum, Recommended exam: C1 Advanced.
