What You’ll Learn

The Digital Art & Design - Graphic Design, M.F.A. is one of the most competitive and highly-regarded programs in the field, offering you the opportunity to develop strong conceptual, aesthetic, and innovative visual projects.

You’ll work in our advanced visualization facility using the latest industry-standard software and hardware, including 3-D printing/rapid prototyping, laser cutters, and immersive environments such as Oculus Rift. You’ll learn from accomplished, full-time faculty who are successful visual artists and creative multimedia designers with experience ranging from fine and digital arts to emerging technology such as virtual, augmented, and mixed reality.

Entry requirements

For students from United States

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university. The following minimum scores required for full admission to graduate programs are: IELTS score: 6.0; TOEFL (iBT) score: 79; Pearson PTE score: 53.

For international students

B.F.A. degree or its equivalent from an accredited college or university.
Minimum undergraduate GPA of 3.0.

If your GPA is below the requirement, you may be asked to take the GRE and submit your score.

Applications are reviewed on a rolling admission basis, as long as space is available.
