The Doctor of Medicine program at St. George’s University, a Caribbean medical school located in beautiful Grenada, opens doors for a medical career on an international scale.
The MD program at SGU is accredited and/or approved by many external regulatory and accrediting bodies, including:
The Grenada Medical and Dental Council, Ministry of Health of the Government of Grenada
The New York State Education Department
The New Jersey State Board of Medical Examiners
The Medical Board of California
Licensed by the Florida Commission on Independent Education
The US Department of Education’s National Committee on Foreign Medical Education and Accreditation has deemed the Grenada Medical and Dental Council’s accreditation standards to be comparable to those used in the United States. Comparability of accreditation standards is a major component necessary to allow MD students at SGUSOM to qualify for government-sponsored loans.
