Loyola University Chicago is a Jesuit university where faculty, staff, and students come from all faiths and backgrounds and strive toward the same goal. Students of Loyola University Chicago receive an education that emphasizes the importance of knowledge, global perspectives, and cura personalis, meaning “care for the whole person.” Loyola offers a Core Curriculum grounded in the liberal arts, that encourages students to think critically, to express themselves clearly, and to discover purpose in life. There are also over 100 online courses on offer, in dozens of subjects, from biology to theology and just about everything else on the academic spectrum. Loyola University Chicago also partners with Trinity Health in Maywood and the suburbs.
