What will I learn?

Graduates of the Master of Accounting (MACT) program at St. Edward's University are prepared for career advancement in the accounting profession in positions that are universally in demand.

MACT courses develop technical expertise in areas such as accounting research, advanced federal taxation, advanced accounting and fraud examination. Other required courses are in business law for accountants and accounting ethics, which help students, learn about codes of professional conduct and their role as guardians of the public trust.

Entry requirements

For international students

To be considered for admission, all applicants must have a U.S. bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university, or an equivalent foreign degree, and be in good academic and financial standing with all colleges attended. Applicants with graduate-level coursework must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.

English proficiency: Minimum official TOEFL score of 79 on the Internet-based test or its equivalent in other formats, or a minimum official score of 6.0 on IELTS.
