What will I learn?

The goal of the Teaching & Learning Master's program is to provide professionally oriented practicing classroom teachers an in-depth understanding of classroom learning environments and experience in classroom-based research methods. This program consists of 10 courses (30 credits) that focus on one of four tracks: technology and design, innovative pedagogy, English as a second language, social-emotional-behavior wellness. Classroom teachers will enhance their pedagogical knowledge and skills, the design of classroom learning environments, and develop innovative curricula and learning activities. Core classes include research, diversity and multicultural perspectives, overview of teaching and learning, instructional design, and curriculum theory and design. The program is geared toward educators in any context: schools, higher education, corporations, community institutions such as museums, athletic programs, or even early childhood centers (e.g., museums, athletics).https://www2.lehigh.edu/academics/graduate-studies/teaching-learning-medThe curriculum is highly flexible, and courses are offered via in-person, online and hybrid options.
