Master of Science in Applied Behavior Analysis from Florida Tech, Applied Behavior Analysts (ABAs) help to better the lives of children and adults struggling with behaviors ranging from difficulty with everyday social interactions to complex issues such as autism spectrum disorders, substance abuse, and many areas in between by applying a systematic, scientific approach.Through class discussions of case studies, involvement in research studies on perplexing human behavior, or applied work at numerous internship sites in the area, students gain the knowledge and skills needed to understand and work effectively with people from diverse backgrounds. Entry requirements

For international students

An applicant should hold a bachelors degree from an accredited institution of higher education in which they should have maintained a grade point average of 3.0 (B) or higher. Applicants should submit a statement of objectives, résumé/CV, and two letters of recommendation. In addition, official transcripts must be submitted of all undergraduate and graduate courses attempted. All applications should be submitted by February 15 but will be accepted throughout the year. Preadmission visits to the campus and conferences with faculty and students are strongly encouraged. At the discretion of the admissions committee, any student who is admitted but has not completed one of these courses (basic principles of learning (or conditioning), basic principles of behavior or an introductory course in behavior analysis) may be required to complete the prerequisite before they are able to register for ABA core courses. The prerequisite course is in addition to the credits required for a degree.
