The graduate programs in Industrial Engineering are designed to instill fundamental concepts as well as practical knowledge of modern engineering and to prepare students for immediate engineering challenges as well as a lifetime of professional advancement. Research laboratories are available for work in robotics and automation, intelligent systems and controls, dexterous robotic hands, computer integrated engineering design and radiation effects on materials. Excellent computer facilities are available.

Admission to the program requires a baccalaureate degree with adequate course work in the field of interest and a score of at least 284 (verbal plus quantitative) on the GRE Aptitude Test with an undergraduate grade point average of a 3.0 or better, or a GRE of 294 (verbal plus quantitative) with an undergraduate grade point average of 2.6 to 2.99. The minimum score required is a 6.0 overall band score. Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) score of 79 (Internet-based) or 550(Paper-based) is the university minimum requirement for all Graduate students.
