The EOI should be a maximum of 500 words that must include your name, your project of interest in addition to your academic background and suitability.

Curtin University will pay it’s stipend at the Australian Government RTP scholarship base rate of AU$27, 596.00 (2019) per annum. The University of Aberdeen will pay the UK Research and Innovation National Minimum Doctoral Stipend for 2018/19 of £14,777 per annum.

2019 - CRC Ore Scholarship

Eligibility requirements

  • Meet the standard Mphil course entry requirements for Curtin University.
  • BEng (Hons), BSc (Hons) or MSc (preferred) in metallurgy, metallurgical engineering, minerals engineering, chemical engineering.
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct scientific research through either refereed journal publications or excellent project marks.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills (min. IELTS total band of 6.5 and minimum Writing 6.0; Speaking 6.0; Reading 6.0; Listening 6.0).
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and to meet deadlines during the course of the project.
  • Academic professional referees and/or previous supervisors.

  • Applying to study the MBA at the Curtin Graduate School of Business
  • Will be enrolled as a full-time onshore international student (at least 75 credits) each trimester
