To be eligible, the below criteria must be met:

  • Applicant should be an Indian citizen living in India
  • Applicant should be residing in India at the time of application
  • Applicant should be applying through any Deakin Authorised agent based in INDIA
  • Applicant should meet the below mentioned academic eligibility criteria

Academic eligibility criteria

  • An overall score of 75% and above in an undergraduate degree when applying for a postgraduate program, or
  • An overall score of 75% and above in the 12th standard (as specified by NOOSR) when applying for an undergraduate program.

All conditions must be met. This scholarship is conditional on acceptance of terms and conditions which will be specified in the acceptance form.

Continued eligibility is subject to maintaining a Weighted Average Mark (WAM) of at least 65.

Students who meet the eligibility criteria will automatically receive a 25% fee reduction to the total indicative tuition fee stated in the offer letter.

Peddle Thorp Scholarship in Masters of Architecture

Eligibility requirements

Prospective candidates should ensure they meet all criteria before submitting their application. To be eligible you must:

  • be an International student
  • must have completed the Bachelor of Design (Architecture) or Bachelor of Design (Architecture)/Bachelor of Construction Management at Deakin University and be enrolling in the Master of Architecture (S700 or S701) in 2017
  • be a high performing student, demonstrating a commitment to develop your full academic potential with a Weighted Average Mark (WAM) of 70 at the time of application and maintain this over the course of the scholarship.

  • be from a non-OECD country that is not within the Very High Human Development category of the Human Development Index of the United Nations Development Program
  • preferably from, but not restricted to the Asia Pacific region.

Western Victoria Primary Health Network Nurse Practitioner Scholarship

Eligibility requirements

All Deakin University scholarships have eligibility criteria.

To be eligible you must:

  • be enrolled in H773 Masters of Nursing Practice (Nurse Practitioner) in Trimester 1 2019
  • be practicing in the Barwon South West region (you will need to be provide confirmation from your employer)
  • commit to selecting a speciality domain of practice that enables endorsed Nurse Practitioners to prescribe Schedule 8 opioid analgesics and work in a primary care/community care/general practice environment
  • commit to undertaking the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) approved Medication - Assisted Treatment for Opioid Dependence (MATOD) Module 1 (online) and Module 2 (face-to-face) training through Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) to gain expertise and competence as an opioid pharmacotherapy prescriber.

Priority will be given to:

  • nurses currently working in alcohol and other drug (AOD) service delivery and/ or Mental Health or
  • nurses who have a special interest in Medication - Assisted Treatment for Opioid Dependence (MATOD) prescribing and intend to continue working within the Barwon South West Region.

Warrnambool Campus International Bursary

Applicants must:

  • be a prospective on-campus international student
  • have applied to study a Bachelor of Nursing or Bachelor of Commerce (with an accounting major) at Deakin’s Warrnambool Campus
  • have met the English and academic requirements for entry to their selected course
  • not have accepted any other Deakin scholarship or bursary

Benefits

The bursary is available for the normal duration of the course

  • Students from Changchun Sister City will be eligible for 25% of the student contributions (tuition fees)
  • Accommodation discount of 20% available to successful applicants throughout duration of scholarship

All prospective students who apply for eligible courses at Deakin’s Warrnambool Campus will be automatically assessed for the scholarship, and will be advised of the outcome. There is no need to complete a scholarship application form.

HDR Scholarship - A Holistic Approach to Understanding and Addressing Sustainable Consumption

  • hold a minimum of a 2:1 first degree (second class honours upper division) in a relevant discipline/subject area with a minimum 70% mark in the project element or equivalent with a minimum 70% overall module average, and/or
  • hold a Masters Degree in a relevant subject area will be considered as an equivalent. The Masters must have been attained with overall marks at 70%. In addition, the dissertation or equivalent element in the Masters must also have been attained with a mark at 70%
