EIT Melbourne Campus Scholarship

Eligibility requirements

  • Offered to international students who successfully meet EIT’s entry criteria and start a course in February 2021 at EIT’s new Melbourne campus.
  • Must be full fee-paying, without existing scholarships. Students can apply for multiple scholarships, but will only be awarded one scholarship.

Application details

Apply to join an EIT program starting at our new Melbourne campus in February 2021. If your application is successful, you will automatically receive a 10% discount off your first semester of tuition fees (applicable to a maximum of 4 units).

EIT Dean’s High Achievers Doctorate Scholarship

Study level

Postgraduate

Eligibility requirements

Applicant must commence study in 2021.
Applicant must meet EIT academic entry requirements including English language requirement for the DEng program.
Applicant must receive and accept an offer, or currently be enrolled into EIT’s DEng program as a full time or part time student.
Applicant must have a minimum average score of 75% in their highest completed qualification.
Applicant must not hold another current scholarship from EIT. Applicant can still be considered for the Assistantship.
Applicant must not have failed any units while studying the DEng program at EIT.
Applicant must not have any outstanding tuition fees owing to EIT.
Applicant must submit a Scholarship Application Form.

Doctor of Engineering Assistantships Scholarships

Study level

Postgraduate

Eligibility requirements

Applicant must receive and accept an offer, or be currently enrolled into EIT’s DEng program as a full time or part time student.
You must not be currently employed by EIT in a teaching role.
You must not be a recipient of the EIT staff postgraduate research scholarship.
You must not have failed any units during your study in the DEng program at EIT
You must not have any outstanding tuition fees owing to EIT
You will be invited to do an academic presentation with the academic faculty as part of the eligibility process.

The EIT academic faculty will select and appoint TA and GA roles, based on satisfying all eligibility requirements and suitability for the position.

The Richard E. Morley Industrial Automation Scholarship

Study level

Eligibility requirements

  • Must be a commencing student studying the Bachelor of Science (Industrial Automation Engineering) or Master of Engineering (Industrial Automation) course with EIT online or on-campus.
  • Must meet or exceed the English Language Proficiency requirement for the specific course of study.
  • Must meet all other entry requirements for the course + at least a minimum result of 70% in all Mathematics units achieved in the highest level of education completed.
  • Must be a full fee-paying student, without existing scholarships. Students can apply for multiple scholarships, but will only be awarded one scholarship.

The EIT Dean’s Scholarship

Eligibility requirements

  • Must be a commencing student studying one of EIT’s higher education courses online or on-campus.
  • Must meet or exceed the English Language Proficiency requirement for the specific course of study.
  • Must meet all other entry requirements for the course, plus at least an overall average of 65% (or equivalent result) in a congruent Bachelor Degree [for entry to EIT Master Degrees].
  • Must meet all other entry requirements for the course, plus at least an overall average of 65% in grade 12 (or highest level award in equivalent pathway), +plus 65% result in all Maths units [for entry to EIT Bachelor Degrees].
  • No more than 5 backlogs.
  • Must be full fee-paying, without existing scholarships. Students can apply for multiple scholarships, but will only be awarded one scholarship.

Eligibility requirements

  • Must be a commencing international student studying one of the on-campus programs in Perth, Western Australia or Melbourne, Victoria.
  • Must be full fee-paying, without existing scholarships.
  • Must provide one paragraph (included in Application Form) explaining why you should be awarded this grant.
  • Must meet EIT’s entry requirements for the respective program.
  • The Relocation Grant can be awarded in conjunction with another EIT Scholarship.

EIT International Science and Engineering Merit (ISEM) Scholarship

  • Must have an interview with the Scholarship Committee.
  • Must be a commencing student studying one of EIT’s higher education courses online or on-campus.
  • Must meet or exceed the English Language Proficiency Requirement for the specific course of study.
  • Must meet all other entry requirements for the course + at least an overall average of 75% (or equivalent result) in a congruent Bachelor Degree [for entry to EIT Master Degrees].
  • Must meet all other entry requirements for the course, plus at least an overall average of 75% in grade 12 (or highest level award in an equivalent pathway) and at least 75% result in all Maths units [for entry to EIT Bachelor Degrees].
  • No more than 5 backlogs.
  • Must be full fee-paying, without existing scholarships. Students can apply for multiple scholarships, but will only be awarded one scholarship.

EIT Women in Engineering Scholarship

Eligibility requirements

Applicable To: International on-campus students who are women

  • ​Must be a commencing international student studying one of EIT’s courses on-campus programs in Perth, Western Australia or Melbourne, Victoria.
  • Must meet or exceed the English Language Proficiency Requirement for the specific course of study.
  • Must meet all other entry requirements for the course + at least an overall average of 60% (or equivalent result) in a congruent Bachelor Degree [for entry to EIT Master Degrees].
  • Must meet all other entry requirements for the course, plus at least an overall average of 60% in grade 12 (or highest level award in equivalent pathway), plus 60% result in all Maths units [for entry to EIT Bachelor Degrees].
  • No more than 5 backlogs.
  • If RPL is awarded, the scholarship amount cannot exceed the total tuition for the year. If it does, the scholarship amount will be reduced to only cover the amount of tuition paid in that year.
  • Must be full fee-paying, without existing scholarships. Students can apply for multiple scholarships, but will only be awarded one scholarship.
