What is a BBA?

A BBA is an acronym for Bachelors in Business Administration, and it is for students who have a background in commerce or accounting or business. BBA prepares you to enter the business world, teaching you the principles of Business Management; it could be useful as a prerequisite if you wish to pursue an MBA later.

What modules will you be studying? – BBA is usually a 3- or 4-year programme at universities abroad, but it may vary based on the academic structure and syllabus of each university. The programme will focus on theoretical- and co-operative work experience-related modules to shape your zeal for running a future business successfully.

A typical BBA programme comprises following modules:

Major subjects –

  1. Accounting
  2. General Management
  3. Marketing and Human Resources

Minor or optional subjects –

Just to let you know that there are some degrees like BBS, BBM and BBus abroad, which are equivalent to a BBA. All are quite similar that pave the road for an MBA in future. It is always advisable that you know the differences and similarities before you apply. Ask questions to our advisors or to universities abroad where you want to study either of the above programme.
