Will poor academic scores affectmy study abroad process?

i have an aggregrate average score of 57% in BE mechanical.i have done my diploma in mechanical with 71.30%.my engineering academic score is very low.i am willing to do my masters in USA.can i get admission in good universities of USA with low academic scores and good entrance scores ( gre,toefl)?.please let me know if i can get admitted in good american  universities so that it will be easy for me to start preparing for GRE earlier

Low academic scores are detrimental in India too.

Yes - it will not be very helpful, especially if you are planning to study at good American colleges. Admission to graduate schools is very competitive, but it is definitely not impossible, if you secure good scores in GRE and IELTS.
