Hi, If the Diploma you intend to pursue in Singapore is recognised, then when you apply for Bachelors degree, the University will consider for Credit waiver or exemptions and you might get to finish your degree faster. But if the Diploma you pursue has no relevence to the degree, you might not get the exemptions.
The Decision lies with the University and so make sure your Diploma is recognised for Bachelors degree credit exemptions.
In General, Singapore Private education system follows the system of Diplomas ( (1st Year of Degree) , Advanced Diploma ( equals 2nd of Degree) and Degree ( 3rd year of degree). The option of quiting at the end of Diploma or Advanced Diploma is available in Singapore.
