Dear Anand,

Greetings from Hotcourses India!!!

Please find the answers to your questions below:

1. Possibility for spring session(US): This is a small intake with less number of universities open, The application window starts in the month of April and majority of them are closed by 15th September. Hence, I would advice you to apply for September 2015 intake.

2. Post-Study work visa:

USA: You get one year OPT after the completion of the course

Australia: After you complete two years of Master, you get two years of Work permit

As far as the requirements are concerned, Both the countries have different process for it, I would suggest you to register on so that we can provide you with the in depth process of it.

3. You may go through the following university options:

1. University of Southern California, Master of Engineering Management

2. University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, Master of Engineering Management

3. Northeastern University, Master of Engineering Management

1. University of Queensland, Master of Engineering Management

2. University of Technology, Master of Engineering Management

And, If you plan to take GRE (Graduate record examination), Mandatory requirement and score good, I would advice you to keep USA as first preference else Australia is definitely is a good choice to go for.

Hope the above clarifies.

Feel free to contact us for further query.

Jyoti- Thank you for your kind respose. Ma'am, I am much inclined towards University of Technology, Sydney for Master's in Engineering Management. I would like to know about the reputation of this institution. Also, are there any scholarships which I may be eligible for ?

Many thanks for your time & consideration.

Nikki- Ma'am, thank you for kind response. Although, US poses a good option for Master's but I am unfortunately not in a position to let go another 6-8 months. By the way, are there any options in Germany regarding Master's in Engineering Management for Jan 2015 ?

Many thanks for your time & consideration.

As per my thinking, Australia is fast becoming a preferred destination in terms of education among Indian students. In some countries Australia is the first choice of study destination.

Thanks & Regards.

Ruby Kaur.
