Postgraduate International Country Scholarships 2019/2020

Student requirements

 Applicants must hold an offer for a full-time taught Masters course (180 credit) at Manchester Metropolitan University and begin their programme of study in September 2019  Master of Architecture applicants are excluded from this offer  The offer is limited to nationals of the following countries: Bahrain, Bangladesh, China, Colombia, Egypt, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Ghana, Kenya, Kuwait, Malaysia, Nigeria, Mauritius, Oman, Pakistan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, South Africa, Republic of Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, Vietnam. Only courses charging standard overseas fees of a minimum £14,500, and being taught on the Manchester Campus, are eligible  Applicants must be self-funding and classified as overseas students for tuition fee purposes  Scholarships are only available for new postgraduate Manchester Metropolitan University students, former students and current students moving from one course to another are not eligible  Applicants will have successfully met any conditions set for entry onto the programme.

Sport Scholarship

Student requirements

To be a Manchester Met sport scholar, athletes must meet the following criteria: Currently studying for or in acceptance of a place on a full-time or part-time postgraduate degree at Manchester Met Be competing at regional, national or international level Participate in a sport recognised by Sport England Be able to represent Manchester Metropolitan University in their sport Meet the academic requirements of their course Be able to provide reliable referees.

International Postgraduate Scholarships 2019/2020

Eligibility criteria  Applicants must hold an offer for a full taught Masters course (180 credit) at Manchester Metropolitan University and begin their studies in September 2019 or January 2020  Master of Architecture applicants are excluded from this offer  Scholarships are available to new Manchester Metropolitan University applicants; former Manchester Met students are not eligible for the scholarship  Applicants must be self-funding and classified as overseas for tuition fee purposes  Applicants who achieve a First degree classification in their undergraduate studies may be eligible for the £2,000 scholarship  Eligible applicants with a 2:1 classification undergraduate degree may be awarded a £1,500 scholarship  International qualifications will be compared with Manchester Met’s internal guidelines and all decisions made by the University’s Admissions Department regarding degree classifications are final and cannot be appealed.
