NAFA's In-house Scholarships, Merit Awards and Bursaries

Eligibility requirements
Students with outstanding academic results and an excellent track record of achievements in related arts industry may apply for NAFA’s in-house Scholarships and Merit Awards. Bursaries are also available for students who require financial assistance (based on household income) to defray part of their tuition fees.
Applicants are subject to the following requirements which may be specified by the Institution and various donors on the selection of the various Scholarship, Merit Award and Bursary recipients:
- Academic performance
- Nationality
- Household per-capita income (refers to total household income divided by number of family members)
- Discipline of study
- Relevant track records to the discipline of study
- MOE Tuition Grant eligibility, etc
Application details
Students may apply online and submit the following supporting documents in order to complete the application:
Curriculum Vitae which should list your participation in the arts such as exhibitions, performances, competitions and other activities, as well as any awards related to your field of study
Copies of your past examination result slip(s)/ transcript(s)
Copies of your educational and professional certificates, including records of co-curricular activities
Copies of Parents' NRIC/ Passport
Copies of all employed family members’ latest payslips, CPF statements, Income Tax assessment or income certification letter by employer
Copies of divorce documents if parents are separated/ divorced, where applicable
Copies of death certificates if a parent(s) is/are no longer around, where applicable
Other information about yourself that may support this application, if any
Confidential reference letters from at least ONE referee.
Students can submit the completed application by mail or in person to: Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts, Office of Student Affairs, 80 Bencoolen Street, Singapore 189655. Diploma applicants must submit by 15th of April and Degree applicants by 13th of May.

Eligibility requirements
Awarded to diploma students who possess outstanding artistic qualities in their discipline of study and have an excellent track record of achievements in the arts industry as evidenced by letters of recommendation from his/her home country institutions, respected bodies or recognised industry players. The recipients of this prestigious award are recommended by the respective Deans & Vice-Deans of Schools or Lecturers during the entrance test / audition / interview.
