Overview

Waiariki Institute of Technology and the Bay of Plenty Polytechnic merged in May 2016 to form New Zealand’s fourth largest technical training provider - Waiariki Bay of Plenty Polytechnic. Currently there are more than 14,000 students enrolled on over 240 programmes offered from 71 course delivery sites. The Institute comprises three faculties and one academy of sport. Programmes in business, tourism, computing and engineering are quite popular among international students.
