Eligibility requirements
Students must hold a valid, in status, F-1 Visa, must achieve a 3.00 cumulative GPA (or higher) within the first four semesters of study at NMU, with a minimum of 12 credit hours per semester. Recipients of the International Academic Award will be provided the opportunity to perform up to 15 hours of community service for each semester the award is received.

International Students are expected to maintain lawful immigration status according to the guidelines set by INS and the Office of International Programs. No Scholarship Application is required. No deadline
Value details
$2200 per academic year and additional $1000 for Summer College up to 7 semesters, depending on when first earned.

Applicants must be international student with a minimum GPA of 2.5. Second preference will be given to any international student in any program.
