I am studying an MBA with a double major - entrepreneurship and digital management - at Kaplan Business School.
Most of the assessments are to do outside the class, it’s either a report, a video recording or a case study. Sometimes, it’s a in-class group assessment to do during the class, we get the subject in class and have a certain time to work on it and then we present it to the class and lecturer.
It’s great to have different types of assessments as it gives diversity and helps us develop more skills.
Hey there! 😊 Currently, I've completed the Graduate Certificate in Business Analyst at Kaplan Business School, and now I'm diving into the Master of Business Analytics. The assessments vary by subject, usually consisting of 2 individual assessments and 1 group assessment per trimester. Some subjects also throw quizzes into the mix! 📚
Assessment types include quizzes, business reports, in-class tests (for STAM4000), and presentations, either in class or recorded. 📊📝
Pro tip: At the beginning of each trimester, you can find all assessment details and rubrics on the subject page. It's super helpful for understanding the requirements and scoring criteria. Oh, and Kaplan uses Turnitin, so referencing is key for authentic work. Happy studying! 🎓📖
Kaplan Business School offers a variety of career-ready programs in business and management related fields. I am enrolled in the MBA Digital Management program of the business school.
The MBA program of the school is globally recognised and highly regarded as the preferred qualification for professionals looking to expand their education and careers in the business and management world.
The benefit of the program is that one can tailor the electives to match their career choices. This helped me to select my electives in Digital Management to match my Marketing career.
The assessments in the program hone and develop one's skills in different areas. Some of the key subjects include leadership, strategic management, emotional intelligence, ethics and governance, marketing and communications, consumer behaviour and marketing psychology, innovation, knowledge management, financial communications, business analytics, project management, people and cultural intelligence.
The assessments are a mix of in class assignments, group projects, quizzes and individual presentations, case analysis and detailed business reports that give a holistic and interactive learning experience to the students.
I am now studying MBA - Master of Business Administration, majoring in Project Management. There are three types of assessments I’ve done so far - video presentation, written reports and examination. Yet I do recognise your performance or participation in the workshop does matter as your facilitator get to know you better and can tell if both of you are on the same page.
