My journey to Vaughn started with my interest in aviation. Since my 5th standard I had developed a passion towards working with an aircraft, know the different technologies involved in it and flying to different places. The first journey towards Vaughn began when I joined Sreenidhi Institute of Science and Technology which is located in Hyderabad, India. Vaughn’s affiliation with Sreenidhi Institute was an opportunity to many students who had hopes and dreams of studying abroad in US and out of many students out there, I shared similar dreams. Well many people were opposed to this as they believed studying avionics wouldn’t build us a career. The main opposition was to the aviation field. But my determination and courage along with the promises that Vaughn College of Aeronautics and Technology had offered came out true and were exactly opposite to the pessimistic mindset which others carried. With such confidence I started my BS studies in India which lasted for 2 years and then as planned I got transferred to Vaughn based on my good GPA. Well the other best thing about scoring good GPA was that as promised by Vaughn I received scholarship. Now that I am in Vaughn’s New York campus, the life here is completely awesome. I has a lot of amazing things here and my dream has become much stronger than before. The reason behind this is firstly, the professors here are highly educated and are very experienced in the aviation field and guide students to build an excellent career in related streams. Vaughn College also contributes your development towards career by conducting workshops, seminars and career fairs which are handled by Vaughn’s Career Services Department and this provides a great help to all the students studying in Vaughn. The biggest problem that an international student faces is the guidance required towards various aspects of living, academics and other processes. The person who was behind such guidance was our international advisor and director of admissions, Mr. David Sookdeo. I always approach him whenever I face any difficulty and he’s always a helping hand that provides me a better solution in time. It’s already been a year since am here and I still discover many new things. I have already gained a lot of knowledge in avionics field. I would firstly like to thank Professor Minhas with heart and soul who has been a great inspiration to me. He guided me in all aspects. Also I would like to thank Professor Glanzmann and Professor Hanz . They both are highly skilled and have never let me down with any question regarding courses. Also Vaughn College hosts many activities and exciting trips that help feel you better and experience the best college life while studying. I would finally like to ask everyone what they would choose out of all colleges. Just spend their 4 years without having aim in life or spend their 4 years aiming high in life. Whatever you choose, I hope you choose the best. Vote for Vaughn College of Aeronautics and Technology!! show less
