You must apply for and receive an offer for a Bachelor of Business (Honours) (Accountancy) before you can apply for a scholarship: Complete the application form; submit your completed application form using the contact details on the form. We might request that you meet additional eligibility criteria. This scholarship is offered annually, with a closing date of 31 January each year.

China Scholarship Council Scholarship

Study level

Postgraduate

Eligibility requirements

You must:

  • meet the China Scholarship Council requirements, as outlined on the China Scholarship Council website (in Mandarin)
  • apply for and be admitted to a PhD, research masters or professional doctorate at QUT
  • meet the English language requirements for the scholarship:
  1. IELTS overall score of 6.5, with no subscore below 6
  2. TOEFL overall score of 90, with no subscore below 20

meet the academic requirements for the scholarship:

  • for masters courses: a completed bachelor degree with first class or upper-second-class (2A) honours or equivalent
  • for PhDs: a completed masters degree.

Apply for your research degree. When you complete the application form, you can indicate that you want to be considered for a China Scholarship Council scholarship.

Please refer to the CSC website above as the closing dates for the CSC scholarships vary each year (usually between late March to mid April).

Value details

A tuition fee waiver for the duration of your course, which is normally one year for masters students and three years for doctoral students. You'll receive from the China Scholarship Council: funding for living allowances, one return airfare, funding for visa applications, health insurance. QUT International College English Language Concession

Eligibility requirements

These concessions are available for prospective students from Colombia and Latin America, Hong Kong, India, Japan, Korea, Macau, Mongolia, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam.

Each country has a different eligibility criteria, and only some countries are eligible for all the concessions. 

You must:

meet all of the program entry requirements and have received a QUT Pathway or English only offer letter for at least one of the following programs:

  • General English Programs (any program from 10 to 45 weeks)
  • English for Academic Purposes 1
  • English for Academic Purposes 2
  • English for Academic Purposes 3

start your English language program in 2019 or 2020.

Application details

There is no separate application for these concessions. Students need to apply to QUT and the concessions will be automatically awarded to eligible students within 7 business days of receiving their QUT pathway or English only offer letter.

Value details

Depending on the eligibility, the student may receive: a reduction of 25% of the full course tuition fee of your General English or English for Academic Purposes (EAP) program at QUT International College; a reduction of 50% of the full courses tuition fee of your EAP program if it is packaged with a QUT International College Foundation or Diploma program

WH Bryan Earth Sciences PhD Scholarship

You must:

  • be applying for a PhD in the area of earth sciences and not yet received or accepted a PhD scholarship offer or be enrolled and commenced a PhD. The WH Bryan Earth Sciences PhD Scholarship is to support a new student and project.

Applications are open to future PhD candidates hosted by Queensland universities that teach in the earth sciences:

As the successful applicant your area of investigation will advance the understanding of Queensland earth sciences by addressing a globally significant problem leading to impactful outcomes. Your research project will ideally be consistent with the diverse areas of research and impacts achieved by Professor WH Bryan MC over his career.

Brown Group Biomedical Engineering and Materials Scholarships
