Excellence Scholarship for Graduate Study

Eligibility requirements

Must be admitted in good standing to a graduate degree program within the Schools of Arts, Sciences, & Professional Studies, Health, Physical Education, and Recreation, Health Sciences and Rehabilitation Studies, or Social Work at Springfield College. Students from the School of Professional & Continuing Studies are not eligible.

Must  have an undergraduate cumulative grade point average of at least 3.50 or a graduate cumulative grade point average of at least 3.75, provided 18 or more semester hours of  graduate credit has been completed at another institution at the time of application.

Applicants who are presently enrolled as graduate students at another institution, but will not have completed 18 semester hours of graduate credit by the end of their first Spring semester may apply provided their undergraduate cumulative grade point average is at least 3.50 and their graduate cumulative grade point average is at least 3.75.

Applicants must submit the Excellence Scholarship Application along with a current resume to the Office of Graduate Admissions by April 1, 2018. 

A minimum of two recommendation forms are required.

Academic transcripts, currently on file with the Office of Graduate Admissions will be used in the selection process.

International Undergraduate Scholarship

Eligibility requirements

New undergraduate international, first-year meeting the admissions criteria will be awarded an academic/merit scholarship upon admission into Springfield College. The academic scholarship is solely for tuition, for a maximum of eight full-time semesters, and only for undergraduate degrees. Students who have government sponsorship are not eligible.

Students with higher academic credentials may be awarded USD $12,000 per year (USD $48,000 over four years).

International Student Housing Award

Eligibility requirements

The award is given to the first 25 international undergraduate students who have been admitted to Springfield College, who are degree-seeking full-time students, and who have committed to attend Springfield College by submitting the enrollment deposit.

USD $26,640 over four years, it covers the cost of a double room in selected residence halls on campus.

A one-time award entry into Springfield College to any student whose brother, sister, parent, or grandparent (including step family members) received a degree from Springfield College (Only one award regardless of the number of family members attending or previously receiving degrees.).
