New pathway to permanent residency for international graduates
The Canadian government has announced a new pathway to permanent residency for over 90,000 essential workers and international graduates. The country hopes that their skills and experience will help Canada fight the pandemic. International graduates who completed their programme no earlier than January 2017 will be considered. Applications will be accepted from 6 May 2021.
