Overview

The Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama is a conservatoire of music, drama and dance established in 1847. The Academy is located at Glasgow, Scotland. The academy has two schools: Music and Drama. Departments under the Music School include keyboard, vocal studies, opera, strings, woodwind, brass, timpani and percussion, Scottish music, composition, academic studies and conducting. Departments under Drama include acting, contemporary performance practice, digital film and television, technical and production arts, musical theatre and modern ballet.
