India Masters Scholarship 2020

Level of study

Student requirements

You must have an offer to study a Masters degree at Ulster University starting September 2020. You must hold an offer for a full-time Masters delivered on one of our campuses in Northern Ireland (Belfast, Jordanstown, Coleraine or Magee), commencing in September 2020 and meet any academic and/or English language conditions as stated in your offer letter. You must clearly state in your personal statement the reasons for selecting to study your chosen course at Ulster University. You must be classified as an international student for fees purposes and hold a valid passport from India. You must be entirely self-funded. You must be willing to act as a student ambassador for various activities during the academic year. Students applying to part-time or eLearning programmes, or to programmes delivered at our branch campuses (London, Birmingham or Qatar) are not eligible for this award.

Application details

Candidates must complete the form below before midnight (GMT) Monday 22nd June 2020. The successful candidate will be notified by email by Tuesday 7 July 2020. To be awarded the scholarship, successful candidates must make a deposit payment of £2,000 no later than Tuesday 21 July 2020.

International Postgraduate Scholarships

Student requirements

Open to all new international (non-EU) entrants on the first year of a full-time postgraduate course delivered on one of our Northern Ireland campuses, commencing September 2020. You must be classified as an international, self-funding student paying the international tuition fee rate to qualify for this award. You must also hold an offer for a full-time, postgraduate programme delivered on one of our campuses in Northern Ireland (Belfast, Jordanstown, Coleraine or Magee), commencing in September 2020 and meet any academic and/or English language conditions as stated in your offer letter. Students applying to part-time or eLearning programmes, or to programmes delivered at our branch campuses (London or Birmingham) are not eligible for this award. Please note you are only eligible for one discount or scholarship.

International Foundation Scholarship

Level of study

Student requirements

Eligibility Criteria: You must be classified as an international, self-funding student paying the international tuition fee rate to qualify for this award. You must also hold an offer for the International Foundation Programme or the International Foundation Year commencing in September 2020 and meet any academic and/or English language conditions as stated in your offer letter. You must pay a £2,000 deposit by Friday 21 August 2020. Students applying to our full-time undergraduate, full-time postgraduate, part-time or eLearning programmes, or to programmes delivered at our branch campuses (London or Birmingham) are not eligible for this award. Please note you are only eligible for one scholarship award. Please also note, to avail of the £2,000 accommodation discount students holding an offer for the International Foundation Programme or International Foundation Year must reside in accommodation located at 123 York Street.

International Alumni Scholarship

Student requirements

If you are an Ulster University alumus returning to study a full-time postgraduate programme delivered at one of our Northern Ireland campuses, commencing September 2020. You must hold an offer for a full-time, postgraduate programme delivered on one of our campuses in Northern Ireland (Belfast, Jordanstown, Coleraine or Magee), commencing in September 2020 and meet any academic and/or English language conditions as stated in your offer letter. You must have successfully completed an Ulster University undergraduate degree programme (including honours, non-honours and integrated masters) or a postgraduate programme (including postgraduate certificate, postgraduate diploma, masters or a PhD); Students applying to programmes delivered at our branch campuses (London or Birmingham) are not eligible for this award. Please note you are only eligible for one discount or scholarship.

Study Abroad Scholarship

The Study Abroad Scholarship is open to all international students who have previously studied at Ulster University as an exchange or study abroad student, and who wish to continue their studies on one of our Masters programmes. You must be classified as an international student paying the international tuition fee rate to qualify for this award. You must also hold an offer for a full-time, postgraduate programme delivered on one of our campuses in Northern Ireland (Belfast, Jordanstown, Coleraine or Magee), commencing in September 2020 and meet any academic and/or English language conditions as stated in your offer letter. Students applying to part-time or eLearning programmes, or to programmes delivered at our branch campuses (London or Birmingham) are not eligible for this award.
