All full-time courses based at the University of Bradford (excluding MBA, distance learning and external); The University is pleased to be offering a Vice-Chancellor’s Award to Indian national applicants starting in September 2020; This award is for self-funding, international fee paying students who are nationals of India; This scholarship is available for all students who meet eligibility criteria; Students on discounted partnership programmes are not entitled to this scholarship; This scholarship is not paid in addition to the international academic scholarship; Every year we award numerous non-repayable scholarships to International students on the basis of academic excellence, personal circumstances or economic hardship; Students can only receive one scholarship or discount so students who are eligible for more than 1 award will be given the award of the highest value.

All students from India will be entitled to a £3,500 scholarship as a fee reduction. The scholarship will be paid in subsequent years if progressing with an average of 58% or above.

University of Bradford Sanctuary Scholarships

Eligibility criteria: You must be: an asylum seeker or the partner/dependant of an asylum seeker; OR an asylum seeker/refugee/partner/dependant who has been granted Discretionary Leave to Remain (DLR) or some other form of temporary status; OR a refugee who is unable to access student finance due to previous study; And: Have a conditional or unconditional offer from the University of Bradford for September 2020 start. Postgraduate students will need to apply for a place on a course via the University of Bradford website: Currently attending a school, college, community or voluntary group which can provide a reference in support of your application; Unable to access mainstream funding, e.g. student finance or a local authority grant. Those that are classed as care leavers and previously were under local authority care can however apply; Live within the Bradford Metropolitan District Council Area, or live within a commutable distance to the University and be able to cover your travel costs yourself, or be able to relocate to Bradford without requiring extra financial support; Do not require support for living expenses or accommodation; You are also able to get a scholarship/scholarship funding to attend a Pre-sessional English preparation course if your English language level is not high enough to meet the entry requirements of the University/your course. All students will be assessed on an individual basis. Further details of the programme can be found here: Pre-sessional English Language Programme; Applicants must meet these strict eligibility criteria and be in a position to verify their circumstances in order to apply. Applicants who do not meet the criteria will not be considered for the scholarship; Former NHS-funded courses such as Nursing, Midwifery, Physiotherapy and Radiography will be included in the scholarship this year; Premium fee courses in the Faculty of Management and Law e.g. the MBA are not covered by this award; Successful applicants for the Scholarship Award at the University of Bradford will be provided with: Tuition Fee Grant: Successful students will be offered a tuition fee-remitted (i.e. no fees) place at university until such time as they are awarded status that entitles them to access student finance (if at all); A Travel and Course Costs Grant: Successful students will be offered a £500 a year (per year if applicable) grant to help with travel and course costs; Personal Support: In addition to fee remission, support will be available for students to enable them to identify and overcome barriers to achievement on their degree programme and for their future careers The University of Bradford will not be able to provide any financial support for accommodation or living costs. Students should only apply if they are able to support these costs themselves during their university course. Students will need to provide proof of this. Office for Students Funded Scholarship for MSc in Applied Artificial Intelligence and Data Analytics

In addition to having either an unconditional or conditional offer for a place on the University's MSc in Applied Artificial Intelligence and Data Analytics course, starting in September 2020 or January 2021, applicants will need to demonstrate that they are categorised under one of the 9 underrepresented groups as identified by the OfS. International students may only apply against criteria: 1, 2, 3, 8, 9: (1) Black students; (2) Disabled students; (3) Female students; (4) Care leavers; (5) Polar Q1 and Q2 students; (6) Refugees given the sanctuary status of the university; (7) Estranged students; (8) Gypsy, Roma, Traveller students; (9) Children from military families, veterans and partners of military personnel. International Academic Excellence Scholarships

Students on discounted partnership programmes are not entitled to this scholarship. The scholarship is only applicable to students who enter their programme in Year 0 (Foundation) or Year 1; Country equivalent of 2:1 at degree-level will result in a £2,500 fee scholarship. Students from one of the countries eligible for the Country Specific Scholarship will receive a £3,000 fee scholarship; Country equivalent of first-class Honours at degree-level will result in a £3,000 fee scholarship. Students from one of the countries eligible for the Country Specific Scholarship will receive a £3,500 fee scholarship; Students must be paying their own fees; Students in receipt of external funding e.g. chevening scholarships are not entitled to this award; This award is instead of the Country Specific Scholarship NOT in addition to it.
