Gyan Scholarship

The scholarships are competitive and require you to have the equivalent of a 2:1 UK degree (or above) and an English language level of IELTS 7.0 with no section less than 6.0, or equivalent, and submit an application form with a personal statement of up to 500 words outlining your academic interests, any prior relevant experience and reasons for choosing the University of Exeter and your programme of study; Students must be graduates of a recognised university in, and be a resident of India. All scholarship awards are conditional on payment of the tuition fee deposit as specified in your offer letter and registration with the University of Exeter. You will need your Exeter student number to submit your application.

The University of Exeter Medical School is delighted to offer the Pro Vice Chancellor's NHS Postgraduate Scholarship to NHS staff who accept a place to study on the MSc Health Data Science, MSc Health Research Methods, MSc Environment and Human Health, MSc Medical Imaging, MSc Clinical Education, MSc Healthcare Leadership and Management or MSc Advanced Clinical Practice enrolling in 2020. We particularly welcome applications from those holding NIHR academic clinical fellowships, pre-doctoral fellowships, or similar, in collaboration with the College; We are seeking to support individuals with a passion for their chosen field of study and an ambition to use their knowledge, training and skills to effect and ultimately lead progressive change; To apply for this scholarship, you must be a member of NHS staff holding an offer from the University of Exeter Medical School on one of the following courses: MSc Health Research Methods, MSc Environment and Human Health, MSc Medical Imaging, MSc Clinical Education, MSc Healthcare Leadership and Management, or MSc Advanced Clinical Practice enrolling in 2020; Scholarships are not awarded in conjunction with other scholarships. University of Exeter Alumni Scholarship

Student requirements

In order to be eligible for the scholarship, you must obtain the necessary academic and English language entry requirements for your chosen postgraduate programme; The scholarship cannot be held in conjunction with any other University-funded scholarship or studentship and is not available for other taught postgraduate programmes, for example PGCE or PgDip. It will be automatically deducted from your tuition fees; We are pleased to offer University of Exeter alumni beginning a taught Masters degree (eg MA; MSc; MRes; MFA) or research degree (eg MPhil/PhD) with us in 2020/21 a scholarship towards the cost of their tuition fees; The scholarship is available to any University of Exeter graduate who has completed one of the following: graduated from postgraduate degree awarded by the University of Exeter; completed an inbound Study Abroad semester/year at the University of Exeter; completed a credit-bearing University of Exeter International Summer School; Please note that this award is not recurrent for postgraduate research students.

Al-Qasimi Masters Excellence Scholarship (International)

Student requirements

Applicants must be deemed international for fees purposes and have submitted an application for either the MA Middle East Studies or MRes Middle East Studies at the University of Exeter for a place starting in September 2020. The Al-Qasimi Excellence Masters Scholarship (International) covering full fees and living allowance is available to offer holders on the MA Middle East Studies and MRes Middle East Studies programmes. These scholarships will be awarded on the basis of proven, outstanding academic merit and qualifications, evidence of outstanding academic promise, degree of fit with departmental research expertise and innovative research plans.

Application details

Applications are due by 21st June 2020. Shortlisted applicants will be invited to take part in an interview (to be conducted by Skype/Facetime/telephone if necessary) in mid July 2020 and all candidates will be notified of results by email shortly thereafter. The awarding of these scholarships will be provisional on the student achieving the terms of her/his offer and registering as a student at the University of Exeter. Applicants will need to complete an online application form and upload some documents, including: Personal statement of approximately 750 words detailing why you should be given this award. An example of your written academic work (maximum 3,000 words). A letter of reference supporting your academic ability (please provide the actual reference rather than just contact details).
