Eligibility requirements

To be eligible, applicants must meet all of the following criteria:

  • Be a citizen of India, and not a permanent resident of Australia; and
  • Must be residing in India, prior to commencing study at UNSW for undergraduate applicants. Postgraduate applicants may have prior residence in Australia; and
  • Must have submitted a Scholarships application; and
  • Must have applied and received an offer of admission* into a UNSW undergraduate or postgraduate degree program; and
  • Have achieved a minimum academic result, as demonstrated in their UNSW admission application of:

Undergraduate admission

  1. All India Senior School Certificate (AISSC) a minimum of 1 point over the academic entry requirement; or
  2. Indian School Certificate (ISC) a minimum of 2 points over the academic entry requirement; or
  3. International Baccalaureate (IB) - at least 2 points over academic program entry; or
  4. GCE A Levels - at least 1 points over program entry; or

Postgraduate admission

  1. Completion of a recognised bachelor degree in India with a minimum grade equivalent to a UNSW GPA of 70.

UNSW Business School Summer Research Scholarships UGVC1053

The program is open to local and international students who meet the following criteria:

  • Currently enrolled at UNSW in an undergraduate program and have completed at least the first year of their degree.
  • Applicants are expected to have a weighted average mark (WAM) of at least 75.

Note: Each research project has their own preference and required knowledge.
Selection

Applicants will be assessed on the basis of:

  • Academic Merit - Students with WAM≥75 are encouraged to apply.
  • Aptitude and commitment to the preferred program of study
  • Availability over Summer 2018-2019.

Endeavour Scholarships and Fellowships

Eligibility requirements

Endeavour Scholarships and Fellowships are internationally competitive, merit-based scholarships provided by the Australian Government that support citizens of countries in the Asia-Pacific, the Middle East, Europe and the Americas to undertake study, research and professional development programmes in Australia and for Australians to undertake these activities overseas.

Endeavour Scholarship recipients will also receive tuition fees paid up to the maximum study/research duration on a pro-rata basis. Tuition includes student service and amenities fees.

Recipients must have achieved an ATAR score (or equivalent) of 99.90 or above (not including bonus points) in an Australian Senior Secondary Certificate in the year prior to commencement of study at UNSW, and receive an offer of admission. International applicants undertaking this qualification must be residing in Australia.

Australian Citizens undertaking an assessable international senior secondary qualification with an equivalent ATAR of 99.90 or above may also be considered. Students who have completed the International Baccalaureate (IB) must achieve a score of 45 to be considered eligible.

Eligible recipients will receive initial notification via their UNSW Guaranteed Entry page. The scholarships is available to students in most undergraduate degree programs, except for Medicine. Only a very limited number of scholarships may be available to students enrolling in the Medicine (BMed MD) program.
