Eligibility:To be considered for this Master’s Scholarship you must be a self-funding international student and: Accept an offer on a full-time masters programme below before Monday 6th July 2020, to commence in September 2020; Achieve a first or upper second (2:1) honours degree from your University of Portsmouth undergraduate programme; Eligible programmes are: MSc Engineering Geology; MSc Geological and Environmental Hazards; MSc Environmental Geology and Contamination; MSc Crisis and Disaster Management; MSc Geographical Information Systems; MSc Coastal and Marine Resource Management.

Application details

You do not need to make a separate application. Candidates holding a 2:1 or 1st will automatically be considered and the decision will be made based on the highest GPA score who fulfill the above criteria. If you're one of the three successful candidates, you'll be informed by Tuesday 7th July 2020.

Vice Chancellor's Global Development Scholarship

Student requirements

For September 2020 entry onwards, eligible students will be able to receive the Vice Chancellor's Global Development Scholarship; Terms and Conditions for Vice Chancellor's Global Development Scholarship; If you're studying on a postgraduate research or postgraduate taught course, you must be a self-funded student on a full-time, on campus, course with annual fees of £14,300 or above for 2020 entry; The scholarship is not available for students who have previously studied other courses at the University of Portsmouth, who will instead be allocated the alumni discount; The scholarship is available for ICP (International College Portsmouth) students progressing to the University; The scholarship cannot be combined with any other scholarship, discount or fee offer; The discounted fee will be stated on your Confirmation of Acceptance for Study (CAS). This is the final document you receive when you have an unconditional offer to study at the University of Portsmouth and have paid your deposit; Only applicants who have been assessed as overseas students for tuition fee purposes can access this scholarship. Eligibility is determined by nationality; Your eligibility for this scholarship varies depending on which course you're studying, where you're from and your academic achievement to date.
