This scholarship is for new postgraduate students who have Indian nationality and have been accepted to study an eligible Masters course at Sussex. To be eligible for this scholarship, you must: be an Indian national; be classified as overseas for fee purposes; be a self-financing student; have accepted an offer to study an eligible Masters course at Sussex; You are not eligible for this scholarship if you: already have another Sussex scholarship (i.e. Chancellors International Scholarship); You are not eligible for this scholarship if you are going to study the following courses: Postgraduate diplomas (including CPE Common Professional Examination); Corruption, Law and Governance LLM (delivered in Qatar); Development Studies MA; Early Years in Education MA; Globalisation, Business and Development MA; Governance, Development and Public Policy MA; Power, Participation and Social Change MA; Poverty and Development MA; Masters degrees in Social Work (if receiving a NHS bursary); PGCE courses.

Cate Haste Scholarship in History (2020)

To be eligible for this scholarship you must have accepted an offer to study either Contemporary History MA or Intellectual History MA at the University of Sussex, commencing in 2020.

To be eligible for this scholarship, you must: hold or expect to achieve a First Class Bachelors degree from a UK university; have applied and received an offer for a full time, eligible Masters degree at Sussex starting in September 2020; submit a separate scholarship application after you have applied for your Masters; You are not eligible for this scholarship if you: already have another Sussex scholarship (such as the Chancellor's International Scholarship); have studied at a UK university's overseas campus or partner college; are a 2020 Sussex Graduate; You are not eligible for this scholarship if you are going to study the following course: Postgraduate diplomas (including CPE Common Professional Examination); Corruption, Law and Governance LLM (delivered in Qatar); Development Studies MA; Early Years in Education MA; Globalisation, Business and Development MA; Governance, Development and Public Policy MA; Power, Participation and Social Change MA; Poverty and Development MA; Masters degrees in Social Work (if receiving an NHS bursary); PGCE courses; Schools Direct teaching course; Any Masters funded by the research councils (e.g. those receiving ESRC 1+3 funding).

Type of award: Partial Fee Waiver. We offer scholarships to applicants who can demonstrate significant management experience and/or have graduated with a good degree, or other relevant qualification. To be eligible for this scholarship, you must: hold an offer of a place on the Sussex MBA; have senior management experience and/or good degree results.

Sussex Graduate Scholarship (2020)

Level of study

Student requirements

This scholarship is for 2020 Sussex graduates, with a First Class or Upper Second Class Bachelors degree, progressing to a Masters at Sussex in 2020. The scholarship is awarded automatically to all eligible applicants. To be eligible for this scholarship, you must: be graduating from a Bachelors Degree at Sussex in 2020; be taking up a place on a full time Masters in 2020 (check the 'Who isn't eligible' tab for excluded courses): achieve a First Class or Upper Second Class honours degree; You are not eligible for this scholarship if you: Are applying for a Masters at a university that is not the University of Sussex; Studied at a University of Sussex partner college (such as BIMM); Are progressing into the final year of an integrated Masters at Sussex; Already have another Sussex scholarship (i.e. Chancellors International Scholarship); You are not eligible for this scholarship if you are going to study any of the following courses: Postgraduate diplomas (including CPE Common Professional Examination) Corruption, Law and Governance LLM (delivered in Qatar); Development Studies MA; Early Years Education (with Early Years Teacher Status) MA; Globalisation, Business and Development MA; Governance, Development and Public Policy MA; Power, Participation and Social Change MA; Poverty and Development MA; Masters degrees in Social Work (if receiving a NHS bursary); PGCE courses; Schools direct teaching courses; Any Masters funded by the research councils (e.g. those receiving ESRC 1+3 funding).

You must have been offered and accepted a place on one of the following courses starting at Sussex in September 2020: Graduate Diploma in Law (GDL) or Common Professional Examination (CPE); Criminal Law and Criminal Justice LLM; Information Technology and Intellectual Property Law LLM; International Commercial Law LLM; International Financial Law LLM; International Human Rights Law LLM; International Law LLM; International Trade Law LLM; Law LLM. You are not eligible for this scholarship if you are applying to study: Corruption, Law and Governance (delivered in Qatar) LLM; Any Masters degree not taught in the Department of Law.
