Eligibility requirements

1. To be eligible to be considered for a scholarship, a candidate must—

(a) be a citizen of the Republic of India;

(b) normally be a graduate of a school specified in Schedule 1;

(c) have achieved an equivalent ATAR of at least 85.00; and

(d) be enrolled, or eligible to enrol, full-time as an international student in an undergraduate degree course.

2. To be eligible to take up a scholarship an awardee must be enrolled full-time as an international student in an undergraduate degree course.

Value details

AUD $3,000 per annum for an equivalent ATAR of 85.00-86.99; AUD $5,000 per annum for an equivalent ATAR of 87.00-89.99; or AUD $7,000 per annum for an equivalent ATAR of 90 or higher.

Peter and Anne Hector Award

Eligibility requirements

  • Be enrolled full-time in a Masters, Honours or Doctor of Medicine degree at a University;
  • have at least one supervisor from the Institute; and
  • be working on a project which involves translational research in areas which have the potential to effect positive and lasting change in Aboriginal children's health and wellbeing.

This scholarship is also applicable for the students: ADS Participating Country, Member Country of the Commonwealth, Canadian, Indian, Citizen of Pakistan, Chilean, American Citizen, American Permanent Resident.

Westpac Future Leaders Scholarship

  • the ability to articulate how their proposed program of study has the potential to contribute to the future growth and prosperity of Australia in one of the Foundation’s priority funding areas;

The Australian Leadership Awards (ALA) aim to develop leadership and build partnerships and linkages within developing countries, while addressing priority development issues of the region. 

The ALA program comprises ALA Scholarships and ALA Fellowships. These awards are for leaders or those who have potential for leadership roles that can influence social and economic reform in their country.

ALA Scholarships are for study at Masters or Doctorate level in an Australian university. Study programs must relate to a priority development area: disability, economic growth, education, environment, food security, gender, governance, health, human rights, infrastructure, regional stability, rural development, water and sanitation. ALA scholars also undertake a Leadership Development Program in Australia.

The Australian Grape and Wine Authority (AGWA) invests in and directs research, development and extension in the Australian grape and wine sector to enhance the competitiveness of the industry.

AGWA's commitment to academic scholarships is one way in which it supports a competitive Australian wine sector across the whole value chain, 'from vine to glass.'

The scholarships aim to attract postgraduate students to study in wine- and viticulture-related fields.
