We allocate scholarships based on the quality of your application, your academic ability and financial need. If your application is successful, the value of your scholarship will be subtracted from your tuition fee. International students may all apply for this scholarship. In order to apply you must first have an offer for a place on one of the following Masters degrees: Accounting and Financial Management (MSc) Global Marketing (MSc) Human Resource Management (MSc) International Business (MSc) International Business and Strategic Management (MSc) International Strategic Management (MSc) Management (MSc) Management with Business Finance (MSc) You must expect to begin your Masters studies in September 2019. York Online students are not eligible for this scholarship.

Please be ready to provide: A 400-word statement, covering: why you applied for the course you wish to study what special attributes or experience you bring to the course why you deserve financial assistance how you will contribute to society having completed a York Masters degree A one-side A4 summary CV (no covering letter please) Include your email address and student number

The value of your scholarship will be based on your nationality and fee status. Taiwan Nationality Students will recieve Scholarship value of £5,500, Indian students will receive £10,000 and other overseas countries £7,000

Global Academic Excellence scholarships

Student requirements

Eligible students must: have a conditional or unconditional offer to study at the University of York by 18 July 2019 (you do not need to have accepted the offer) be paying fees at the overseas fee rate (any fee assessments must be complete by the 18 July 2019) be intending on studying a full-time undergraduate or postgraduate taught Masters course based on the University of York campus be a national of or permanently domiciled in a relevant country (country-specific academic excellence scholarships only) Applicants cannot hold a 100% tuition fee scholarship or be fully sponsored. Applicants for the following pathways are not eligible to apply for the Academic Excellence or Country-specific Academic Excellence scholarships: Hull York Medical School International Pathway College Distance learning courses

Applications will close on 18 July 2019 at 11.59pm (GMT+1) You must apply online for this scholarship As part of the application, you will need to provide 3 short statements of 250-300 words explaining why you would like to be considered for the scholarship A panel of senior staff from the University will select the successful scholarship awardees. We aim to inform all applicants of the outcome of their scholarship application by late May.

Students will receive a £5,000 tuition fee discount for the first year of study. These scholarships are open to high ability students from any non-EU country.

Centre for Eighteenth Century Studies - MA Scholarship

The Centre for Eighteenth Century Studies offers several awards for the MA in Eighteenth Century Studies, each worth £1,000 towards fees. All successful applications received and accepted by the end of June 2019 will be automatically considered, unless another major award has already been allocated. These are open to all eligible applicants from the Overseas.
