About Amberton University
Overview
Hitting the track as an extension campus of Abilene Christian University in 1971, Amberton University's mission was to provide education to the community in Mesquite, Texas. In 1982, this campus received accreditation from the Commission of Colleges and separated itself from Abilene and received the status of University. Amberton offers undergraduate and graduate courses in human resources, applied studies, counselling, business and economics. It focuses on equipping students with practical knowledge.
