In May, the university celebrated the completion of the first phase of a USD 110 million dollar renovation project of its Science Building, which will enable students to have more involvement with faculty research and collaborate directly with industry practitioners in areas such as chemistry, biochemistry, physical sciences, geosciences, and the ecological and environmental sciences.
Renovation work started in early 2022, and the celebration of its completion also marks the beginning of the project’s second phase, expected to be completed in 2026.
