About the accommodation

Living in campus housing is much more than eating and sleeping in the residence halls. Emerson has a variety of residence halls each having their own unique community. These communities provide residents an opportunity to learn more about themselves and others. Also included in the residence halls are the learning communities, special floors designated for a particular interest. The 14-Story hall houses approximately 560 students and is home to the STAR Community (Students Taking Active Roles), Writers' Block and Performing Cultures Learning Communities. All of the rooms are within either a 6 or 4 person suite which each shares a common area. On every other floor, residents share a common room. The ground floor contains a separate residence hall lobby, laundry facility and mail room exclusive use of the building residents. The 12-story hall houses approximately 750 students and is home to the Local Action, Digital Culture and Wellness Learning Communities. It is located in the heart of the Theatre District, at the corner of Boylston and Tremont Streets. Residents share common or suite baths, lounges, laundry, and kitchen facilities on each floor. An extended quiet/study hours floor is available. The Little Building also houses the dining hall, an exercise facility, and campus offices, including Public Safety. Some of the amenities at the hotel include private internal bathroom, high speed Internet and cable television, and housekeeping services including clean linens and towels. Shuttle services will be provided to and from this location.
