About the accommodation

On-campus residences are designed to make gathering, studying, and socializing convenient. The Office of Housing, Residential Living, and Dining (OHRLD) provides well-maintained residential and dining facilities, supported by a highly trained staff who promote the growth of students through opportunities for engagement and autonomy within an inclusive community of learners. Eight suite-style residential buildings are available: Delaney and Putt halls, Suites on Maple-East and Ruddock Hall, Northern Suites, Suites on Pratt, Wallwork Hall, and Stephenson Hall. All buildings include the following: individual bathrooms in each suite, high-speed wired and wireless Internet connections, microwaves and refrigerators in each suite, suite options with living spaces that range from 300 to 1,000 square feet, individually controlled air conditioning and heating units, trash disposal and laundry facilities on each floor, indoor bicycle storage rooms, and carpeting. All students are provided with the necessities, including a dresser, desk and chair, bed, closet/wardrobe, and more. Other available services are cable TV service, and wireless (except Elkin Hall) and active Ethernet connections. Three traditional halls are available on campus. These residence halls feature single, triple, or quadruple occupancy. They are coeducational by floor or wing. The traditional residence halls include: University Towers Apartments, Whitmyre Hall (Robert E. Cook Honors College), and Elkin Hall. Each traditional residence halls have a laundry room, vending area, lounges, access to recreational space, and access to a residential computing center. Each student room is fully furnished and includes a bunkable bed, desk, desk chair, dresser, and a wardrobe or closet. Each room also has a high-speed wired Internet port for each student, as well as cable TV.
