Founded more than 75 years ago, Lake Michigan College (LMC) is an accredited, nonprofit community college located in southwest Michigan. The college offers more than 80 two-year programs, including career education, part-time and full-time options, transfer programs, and online learning. The educational and cultural experiences that LMC provides to its students are designed to improve socioeconomic mobility, enrich lives, and improve the economy. Student Life at LMC offers students the opportunity to engage in activities that cater to their interests outside the classroom. These activities help students expand leadership skills, promote civic engagement through volunteering, instil school spirit through social activities on and off campus, and build awareness around the human condition. LMC also has a number of clubs and organizations that serve to showcase the diverse interests of the college’s student body.
