About the accommodation

The Office of Residence Life and Housing is committed to meeting the needs of students who request special accommodations to the best of its ability. Special considerations include: disabilities such as mobility impairments, vision or hearing impairments (where physical accommodation or building adaptation may be required) or mental health concerns; and religious reasons that require special accommodation. The halls available are: Baldwin Hall, Blount Towers, Cummings House, Harper-Tubman, Marble Hall Gardens, O'Connell Hall, and Rawlings Hall. Baldwin Hall is an upperclassmen male residence hall. It is traditional three-floor residence hall composed of double-occupancy rooms with a central hallway and a bathroom joining two rooms (a maximum of four residents share the bathroom). Blount Towers is a female residence hall located on the South side of campus shares a common bathroom. Cummings Hall, located on the North side of campus, is a male residence hall. It is a traditional four-floor residence hall composed of double-occupancy rooms with a central hallway and a bathroom joining two rooms (a maximum of four residents share the bathroom). Harper-Tubman is a female residence hall located on the North side of campus. The four-floor style residence hall is composed of double-occupancy rooms with a central hallway and a bathroom joining two rooms. Marble Hall Gardens is a co-ed upperclassmen apartment- style residence hall located a few blocks from main campus. O'Connell Hall is a traditional male residence hall. It is a three-floor residence hall composed of double rooms with a central hallway which shares a common bath/shower room. Rawlings is also the home to the University main dining facility, which serves the entire campus community and has a capacity of 2,000 students per meal, located on the South side of the campus. The Thurgood Marshall complex is an apartment style, co-ed residence hall that houses upperclassmen. Each suite has 3-4 double occupancy rooms.
