About the accommodation

Sierra Nevada College knows there is more to residential living than having a place to eat, sleep, and study. Student Housing is a place for students to develop friendships, participate in activities, and become an active member of the community. The residence life office seeks to nurture and develop these skills for the benefit of housing residents and the entire Sierra Nevada College Community. Freshmen and sophomores are required to live in the residence halls. Freshmen or sophomores who are over 21 years old or who live with a parent or guardian are not required to live on campus. Campbell-Friedman Hall: Campbell-Friedman Hall is home to 50 students, who walk just a few feet within the same structure for their daily meals in Patterson Hall. The whole facility is bright and airy with terrific views. There are additional units for resident assistants and a visiting scholar suite. Available to all students on site are a laundry facility, student lounge, and game room. All rooms are furnished with a single bed, desk, chair and wardrobe unit, as well as telephone, and have individual cable and phone hook-ups. Prim-Schultz Hall: Prim-Schultz Hall offers double-occupancy rooms, each with a private bathroom, and a creek or mountain view. This beautiful new residence hall also has two giant student lounges, bright and airy study coves, and an elevator for wheelchair accessibility and personal convenience. Prim-Schultz Hall also provides a ski-tuning area, a laundry facility, and giant lockers for personal equipment, trash chutes, cable television hookups, as well as Internet access and phone connections for each resident.
