Founded in 1889, the State University of New York at Plattsburgh is popularly known as SUNY Plattsburgh or Plattsburgh State College. It is based out of Plattsburgh, New York, and accommodates approximately 1000 students every year in the freshman category. The University offers about 60 degree programmes and has a student strength of over 5000. There are 3 academic schools at SUNY: Arts & Science, School of Business & Economics and Education, Health & Human Services. The University welcomes international students and recruits students from over 60 countries. Different internship programmes are offered by the University to help students expand their network for job opportunities.
